Dead in the Family-Charlaine Harris
The Sookie (think Cookie and you'll have it right) Saga continues in book 10 of the delicious series about Sookie Stackhouse and her abnormal & vampy friends in heady, sultry, steamy BonTemps Louisiana. This is a slower paced book that actually fills in a few back stories and gives us more information on some of the lesser known characters. Sookie still manages to find herself in some interesting, and uh....sticky situations, but compared to her usual exploits these are a walk in the park. As usual, a great book, from a great series. The TV series True Blood is loosely based off of it as well, however it does not follow the books exactly which is a nice treat. I highly recommend both series.
